Tim Howard, USA Soccer Team Star Goalee, Has Tourette Syndrome too! Go For The World Cup USA Team!

The following is copied from http://www.timhowardstory.com/about.htm
"Tim Howard was born on March 6, 1979, in North Brunswick, New Jersey. His hometown is located within an hour or so from Kearny— the unofficial soccer capitol of the Garden State—and Giants Stadium, where international superstars like Pele and Giorgio Chinaglia were busy creating an audience for the sport when Tim came into the world.
Testimony:
As a child I saw peace in my grandmother's life. Nana's sense of peace was so powerful because it came from her faith in the Lord. Through her, God revealed His love for me as well. It wasn't long before I was following in her footsteps. I wanted the same kind of faith and peace she had, and that is exactly what God gave me.
At age ten, I was diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome, a neurological disorder characterized by physical and verbal tics. Living with Tourette's is not easy. But God has blessed me with the gift of athleticism as well. He has done some powerful things in my life through the combination of these two gifts. Not only has He helped me earn a position with Manchester United; He also has shown me ways to use my position as a professional athlete to encourage others with Tourette's syndrome.
Today, I am blessed to be living a dream. And yet, if it all went away tomorrow, I know I would still have peace. That probably sounds crazy to most people, but that's the kind of peace Christ gives. It is rooted in His love, and it surpasses all understanding. You can experience this same sense of love and peace too. All you have to do is ask for it."

Thank you David Green, CEO of Hobby Lobby
"Dear Friend,
Hobby Lobby is a very special company you should know about. Each Easter and Christmas, CEO David Green and Hobby Lobby place full-page ads in newspapers all across the country. He has been doing this since 1997.
These ads have a single purpose - to spread the good news of Christ! These ads cost Mr. Green's company hundreds of thousands of dollars. Such devotion to the gospel message is worthy of your support of his company.
I would be grateful if you would consider the following suggestions:
1. Send an email to Hobby Lobby CEO David Green, thanking him for his company's dedication to spreading the Good News of Christ!
2. Listen to a radio interview between Mr. Greeen and AFA President, Tim Wildmon.
May God bless you as we celebrate together, the resurection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Sincerely,
Tim Wildmon, President
American Family Association"

ROOTING FOR A HENDRICK TEAM TO WIN THE SPRINT CUP
I was invited to sing there by Cathy Hendrick, widow of John Hendrick who was the former President of Hendrick Motorsports. Cathy is the featured speaker at many churches where she shares her heartwarming story of faith in the midst of tragedy when her husband and twin daughters died in a plane crash in October, 2004.
Unfortunately, Cathy suffered a broken collarbone in a mountain bike accident lasts week and could not attend. Her sister-in-law, Linda Hendrick, graciously accepted to speak in Cathy's absence, and shared her touching story about her experience of faith in the death of her son, Ricky, who also died in the same tragedy.
Linda did such a good job in her speech, and I was so happy to finally meet her husband, Rick in person. They are such a sweet couple. Rick Hendrick is the owner of Hendrick Motorsports and is the brother of the late John Hendrick. That terrible plane wreck caused the death of Rick's brother, his 24 year old son Ricky, his twin nieces and several others.
A few years ago, I sang at the Hendrick museum in Charlotte during a Bible study they often have for the Hendrick Motorsports employees. After seeing the vast museum and other incredible facilities there at the Hendrick complex where the cars are built, my mom and I quickly became NASCAR fans. It was such a pleasure to meet Rick Hendrick, the man behind such a fantastic organization. He truly seemed like such a nice man, and we are rooting for a Hendrick team to win the Sprint Cup! Some day we hope to see a real live NASCAR race and meet Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Mark Martin and Dale Junior in person.
